At this point in Saul’s story, we see God use a vision to instruct His servant Ananias to go and meet Saul. Can you imagine the fear and uncertainty Ananias must have felt? Not only did God give him a vision, but He told him to go and meet with one of the most feared persecutors of the church! Ananias was to be the tool through which God would reach down, restore Saul’s sight, and transform his life.
Pray that God would use His disciples around the world to change the lives of ISIS members. Pray for the Holy Spirit to encourage them to reach those around them with power and courage.
God is moving throughout the Muslim world. Many Muslims have testimonies of how God has moved in their lives, revealing Himself to them through dreams and visions.
This passage from Joel reminds us of the mighty ways God moves and the glory of the salvation He offers:
Pray that God would come to ISIS members in dreams and visions. Pray for large-scale dreams and visions—even that whole groups would have the same dream or vision at the same time. Pray for God to release His wonders among them so that they will call on His name and be saved.
