In Days 1-10

Members of ISIS are not beyond God’s reach. Even now, He is calling out to them through supernatural visions and dreams, as well as through His disciples in their communities. While the situation might look hopeless, it is no further from redemption than any other part of this fallen world we live in. Just look back at the story of Saul.

In Saul’s day, people would have looked in wonder and scratched their heads at him. “Saul is doing what?!” they would have asked each other. This leading persecutor of the Christian church, with his message of hatred, was now proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus!

Saul was so radically transformed by Jesus Christ that nothing could stop him from sharing His message of hope with anyone who would listen:

And all who heard him were amazed and said, “Is not this the man who made havoc in Jerusalem of those who called upon this name? And has he not come here for this purpose, to bring them bound before the chief priests?” But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that Jesus was the Christ. Acts 9:21-22

Pray for those whom God will save out of ISIS to have extreme boldness and a fruitful witness. Pray that others from ISIS and the world would look at them and marvel at the radical change. Pray that many would be “confounded” by their testimonies.

When Rafi and Kareema’s baby was miraculously healed in Jesus’ name, their American friend Bill said to them, “God has really shined His light on you through Jesus!” The family began studying the Bible. As they learned to obey Jesus’ commands, they grew in joyful boldness to share with others. Read about this Spirit-led movement to Jesus in Disciple Making Movements: The Point of No Return.
